Vote for the Climate Public Forum

The forum is a joint initiative of Climate Action Hobart, a grassroots community climate action group and Environment Tasmania, the state's peak environment body and is supported by the UTAS Environment Collective.

The public forum will provide the community with the latest information on Tasmanian political parties' climate change policies in the lead up to the state election. The forum will be chaired by community leaders and will include a presentation on Climate Action Hobart's benchmarks for Tasmanian climate change policy – Ten Steps for a Safe Climate: Tasmania 's contribution to avoiding dangerous climate change.

Thursday 11th March from 6.30-8.30pm. The venue is the Stanley Burbury Lecture Theatre at the Sandy Bay Campus of the University of Tasmania . Each party's representative will be given 10 minutes to make their presentation. We anticipate there will be approximately 30 minutes at the end for audience participation.

To RSVP or for further information please contact Jess Wright at Environment Tasmania on 6224 6319 or climate@et.org.au

More information about Climate Action Hobart's and Environment Tasmania's climate change policies can be found on their respective websites:
